Privacy Policy

This policy explains how the Blocnot app and the blocnot.app service (the “App”) handle information. The App is published by GLOBERINT PTE. LTD., Singapore 048762 (“we”, “us”). Contact: main@globerint.com.

In short: the App has no account, no e-mail, no password, no advertising and no tracking. Your notes are stored on your device and, so that your devices can share them, on our servers under a random sync key. We do not read them, sell them or use them for anything but delivering them to your devices.

1. What the App stores

Notes. The text and title of each note, the time it was created and changed, and whether it was deleted. They are kept on your device and sent to our servers for synchronisation (section 2).

Sync key. A random 20-character key generated on the first device. It is the only identifier the App has: there is no name, e-mail, phone number or advertising identifier. Anyone who knows the key can read and change the notes behind it, so share it only with your own devices.

Settings. Your icon choice and the key are stored on the device.

2. What is sent to our servers

The App sends your notes with the sync key to our servers (in the United States and in Russia; the App uses whichever answers first, and the two copy each other). With each request the server records the time, your IP address and the App version, so that we can see that the service works and stop abuse. We keep daily copies of the database for 30 days so that a failure does not lose your notes.

Exchange rates are fetched by our servers from public sources and sent to the App; no information about you is sent to those sources.

3. Subscription

Purchases are handled by Apple. We receive from Apple only whether the subscription is active, never your payment details or your Apple ID.

4. Deleting your data

Delete a note in the App and it is marked deleted on every device and on our servers. Delete the App and the notes stay on your other devices and on our servers under your key. To have everything behind a key erased from our servers, write to main@globerint.com with the key; we erase it within 30 days, including the backups as they expire.

5. Who can see your data

Our servers are operated by us. We do not share your notes with anyone except when the law requires it. The App uses no third-party analytics or advertising services.

6. Children

The App is not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect their data.

7. Changes

If this policy changes, the new version is published on this page with a new effective date.
