Terms of Use

These terms govern your use of the Blocnot app and the blocnot.app service (the “App”), published by GLOBERINT PTE. LTD., Singapore 048762 (“we”, “us”). By using the App you agree to these terms. The Apple Licensed Application End User License Agreement also applies; where the two differ, these terms prevail to the extent permitted by that agreement.

1. What the App does

The App stores plain-text notes, evaluates arithmetic written in them and converts currencies using rates from public sources, and synchronises the notes between your devices through our servers. Rates are informational and may be delayed or wrong; do not rely on them for transactions. Results of calculations are produced by software and may contain mistakes.

2. Your notes and your key

Your notes are yours. The sync key gives full access to the notes behind it; keep it to yourself. We are not responsible for access by anyone you gave the key to. Do not store in the App anything you may not lawfully store, or anything that harms others.

3. Subscription

Full use requires an auto-renewable subscription after the free period shown in the App and in the App Store. Payment is charged to your Apple ID when you confirm the purchase or, with a free trial, when the trial ends. The subscription renews automatically for the same period at the price shown unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Manage or cancel it in your Apple ID settings. Refunds are handled by Apple under its rules.

4. Availability

We keep the service running on our servers but do not promise uninterrupted availability. Notes stay on your devices and keep working without the service; synchronisation resumes when it is back.

5. Liability

To the extent permitted by law, the App is provided as is, and we are not liable for indirect losses or for loss of data beyond restoring what our backups hold. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
